    Business Preparedness on COVID-19 Monday, March 16, 2020 Updates Delivery & Takeout Only after 8PM Today

    Restaurants, bars and cafes will be closed as of 8PM Monday, March 16, 2020 with activity limited only to delivery and take-out services, as per NYC Mayor and NY State Governor guidance.

    Gyms, theaters and entertainment venues are also closed.Crowd capacity for social gatherings is limited to 50 people.
    Support measures available at this moment from NYC Department of Small Business Services include:

    1) NYC Employee Retention Grant Program:Small businesses with 1-4 employees that saw a 25% decrease in revenue due to COVID-19, may be eligible to receive a grant to cover 40% of payroll costs for 2 months to help retain employees.

    2) NYC Small Business Continuity Fund:Businesses with less than 100 employees who experienced sales decreases of 25% or more will be eligible for zero interest loans up to $75,000, to mitigate profit loss.
