Dear Resident/ Business Owner:
The City of New York’s Department of Transportation will present two safety projects to the Municipal Services Committee of Bronx Community Board #10 that will affect current traffic near your home and/or business in Throggs Neck. The areas in question are as follows:
• on East Tremont Avenue from the Cross Bronx Expressway Service Road to Harding Avenue;
• on Harding Avenue from Emerson Avenue to Pennyfield Avenue.
Due to COVID-19, Community Board #10 is not permitted to hold an in-person committee meeting with the public in attendance as proper social distancing would be difficult to enforce due to office spacing issues. We have scheduled a CISCO WEBEX virtual meeting where you can listen-in. It will be on Wednesday, July 22 at 7:30 P.M. To listen-in, dial (646) 992-2010 and enter access key 1299536826 when prompted. Since it is a conference call, you will be muted by the host so that the presentation can
occur. It is a committee meeting where we may not be able to get each person’s question and/or comment. To be sure, if you wish to have your question and/or comment as part of the minutes of the meeting, kindly e-mail us at bx10@cb.nyc.gov with your name, home and/or business address and the comment and/or concern by Tuesday, July 21 by 5 P.M.
If Community Board #10 receives a digital copy of the presentations before the virtual meeting, it will be located under the “Announcement” tab of our website and/or placed on social media. Our website is https://wwwl.nyc.gov/site/bronxcblO/index.page. You can also follow us on our Facebook page by liking @BronxCommunityBoardl0.
Not every homeowner or business will receive this letter. Please be sure to share this letter with your neighbors. Those who have received a hard copy of this letter either live or work directly on East Tremont Avenue and/or on Harding Avenue.
Sincerely,
Matthew Cruz
District Manager
